About the Project
The overall objective of the project was to inspire change through increased knowledge and awareness on honesty, accountability, and anti-corruption in the road sector. Quotable quotes were used as guides for appreciation of the importance of road safety, while transparency and accountability in all dealings of the Federal Road Safety Corps, under the Federal Ministry of Works, were presented as means of accomplishing the goal.
In general, a bottom-up approach was used for each of the 3 major components of the project. Each compartment of the model was evaluated independently in order to ensure consistency in the overall performance of the project. The third component of the project (Delivery of Training and Workshop) was basically a blend of theoretical, technical, discursive, and practical approaches covering institutional governance and accountability in road safety.
