AO Global Inc. is incorporated under Federal and Ontario Government laws and statutes in Canada. The company has provided training, capacity building, international trade, investment, and consulting services since 2005. Our main objective is to create value by improving business relationships between Africa and North America.
Our focus is to facilitate trade by connecting North American Investors and businesses to profitable ventures in Africa. We offer investment, consulting, and trade advisory services with practical solutions that are cost-effective for our clients. To ensure the success of existing and new businesses, we provide human capital development through hands-on workshops and skills training programs facilitated by experienced professionals and top-rated academics.
AO Global Inc. is a Corporate member of the Toronto Board of Trade (TBOT), Canadian Council of Africa (CC Africa), and Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) among others. Our principals are all experienced business practitioners with successful businesses in Canada, Nigeria, and other emerging economies. Dr. Segun Lawrence Aina OFR
Dr Segun Aina is a global professional banking leader, internationally rated fintech thought leader, ecosystem builder, change driver and respected futurist.
He has three decades of distinguished banking career in three banks and retired from active banking service as a Bank MD/CEO
Dr Aina is the pioneer Chairman of the Global Council of Global Banking Education Standards Board (GBEStB) from Sept 2017 to Sept 2023, former Chairman of Odua Investment Company Limited, and past President of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
An innovation visionary who set up Fintech Associates Ltd as far back as 2002, he is the founding President and Chairman of BoT, FintechNGR, founding President of the Africa Fintech Network (AFN), Founder/Chairman, The Fintech Institute (TFI) and Opolo Global Innovation Ltd/Canada Inc
He also serves as a member of the UK-Africa Fintech Investment Group, a UK Govt initiative.
Dr Aina is a distinguished alumnus of the University of Lagos, and the University of Ibadan, and has received executive business education in INSEAD France, Harvard Business School (HBS), IMD Switzerland, and the Lagos Business School (LBS).
Dr Aina is a Fellow of the London Institute of Banking and Finance, Chartered Institute of Bankers, Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, Institute of Directors, and a Member of the Toronto Region Board of Trade.
Dr Aina has been bestowed with the Nigeria National Honors of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) and has received four honorary doctorate degrees from four Universities.
Dr. Festus Akindunni (B.Sc, M.Sc, PHD)
Dr. Akindunni is a Canadian citizen with a Nigerian origin. He has lived in Canada for more than 40 years during which he obtained an MSc degree in Hydrogeology and a PhD
degree in Earth Sciences, both from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Akindunni obtained his BSc degree in Geology (with Geophysics) in Nigeria. He worked
with the University of Waterloo for 3 years; he then moved to the private sector where he provided consulting services to reputable companies such as General Electric and
Boeing in the USA. His other international clients included the Government of Botswana, the Commonwealth Science Council, and the Government of Nigeria.
He had worked with the Federal Government of Nigeria where he supervised multimillion-dollar projects, including the National Borehole Program which was worth approximately US$200m. His experiences in the public service, academics, and the private sector areas of his profession provided him with a complete appreciation of the challenges of his career. He therefore attracted support from Canadian External Affairs and the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). He was a member of the Canadian Trade Mission to Africa in 1997, and one of the African participants in the Africa Direct Program in 2000. In Nigeria, he was a member of the Organized Private Sector and Nigerians in Diaspora.

Driven business executive with many years of experience in executive development positions. A Professional, dedicated to exceeding growth objectives, through exceptional initiative and analytical prowess. A Strategic thinker with many years of experience building people, developing relationships, cultivating partnerships, and growing profit channels. He has been Managing Director as well as Chairman Board of Directors for years of a multinational corporation.
He holds a first-class & master’s degree in international finance & economics. He has received executive business education at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, The University of Pretoria, South Africa, and at the George Business School, University of Cambridge United Kingdom.
He was recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year four years in a row by the Nigerian Stock Exchange for outstanding performance and turnaround of a moribund corporation. He. chaired the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria Southwest Zone for Four Years and was National Vice President (Southwest) of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria. He was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (West Africa) in 2011.
Otunba Michael Daramola was a member of the board of many corporations including the Nigerian-German Business Association as well as The National Agency for Food, Drug Administration & Control (NAFDAC) amongst others. He presently works as a consultant on business development and is married with three children.
